Chapter Nineteen: Can you find a way to use this technique?

The power of eye popping enticements!

Below is an ad that would catch anyone’s attention.

It is for 3M advertising their security glass... not sure if a bus shelter style sign is going to get to their most ideal target market – but the idea is excellent.

How can you make your customers say "WOW? I have got to find out more about that, get that or buy that!"

Sometimes it is a controversial advertisement or PR stunt.

Sometimes it is in the bonuses you offer with purchase (hint: make the bonus worth much more than the product. how? partner with another firm with a high end product and buy them at a huge discount or get them to pay for the giveaways. Digital bonuses also cost you nothing, but have high value. Audio products have low reproduction costs, but high value. Find a way to make it WORK for you.)

The key here is to think about how you can GRAPHICALLY show off one or more of your biggest benefits.

Then support the graphics with compelling copy (in my own eyes – this is missing a description on all the ways the safety glass could be applied to your home, business, car, kids playhouse... etc.)
