Chapter Thirty: Are you criminally negligent?
I realized something BIG when I spoke in San Francisco. I have
been neglecting my clients!
When I was asked to speak in San Francisco, I had to think fast
about what I would sell to the attendees. I wasn’t getting paid to speak there –
nor were my hotel or plane expenses covered by anyone but myself. So I had to
make some money to cover my expenses. I had a few products that I have sold over
the years (Sales Letter Success home study, as well as my Marketing ESP
Formula)… but they weren’t enough.
I wanted to do this RIGHT.
So I started thinking about every single thing I have written
over the years – advice I had given (whether or not the person acted on the
advice or not is besides the point) – and, what is most important, the BIG
successes both my clients and myself have accomplished in the 5 years since I
went on my own. In that time, I have generated millions and millions of dollars
for my clients – in fact – my business partner and I added up our collective
successes and we came up with…

Now that is a number you cannot ignore.
Those are real dollars our clients have made from sound direct
marketing strategies, combined with powerful product and service launch
programs.
YET, I had never shared 80% of what I had written or taught. My
personal preference has always been small, interactive workshops. Working
hands-on with entrepreneurs and helping them SEE the big breakthroughs is
something I get a kick out of.
While a select number of my total client base has been through
all my programs and purchased all my products – the vast majority of them have
no clue what all I could offer them... because I have never told them everything
I had.
Mainly because even I didn't know until I put it all on
paper!
Which brings me to my point: I, as should you, need to tell my
clients anything and everything I have to offer them. Most people won't want
everything... but some may. And those that do will be glad you told them.
You can fast track their success with your products and
services by offering it all in one.
They will save money – as you should be offering package deals
when they buy your bundles.
And they WILL appreciate the fact that you are trying to help
them get better results in less time.

Now, you have to spend a few hours putting your entire
offerings on paper... then find a way to offer it to your own client base. They
will thank you for at least giving them the option. And you will be offering
them the biggest gift you can – greater success – in quicker time – for less
money.
