Not long ago, I let my girls (Katrina and Hailey) give me a makeover to keep them busy and give them a few laughs.  I told you this would be scary.

What followed, completely changed the way I looked at myself (I thought... I'll never do that again), and my business.

The makeover was awful... but the girls had a blast. Despite all the pulled hair and thick makeup applied - I managed to survive without any long lasting damage.

And I had a great idea while cleaning off the mess.

Once you have results measured (which is now called your control statistics) - you can start making changes to see if you can improve on the results you've already measured.  You can change (and measure the results): headlines, body copy, the offer, the guarantee, the bonuses, the graphic look of your site, the fonts used, the order form, the product promise, the main benefit lead... you name it... you can change and test it. 

BUT, only test one change at a time so you can get results that are legitimate comparisons to your old control.

This also applies to any training classes or events you put on.

Try new approaches, new content, new deliver and follow up programs. Find out what people respond to.

I tested this with my Calgary Marketing Clinic. It have been holding the clinics for 2 years now and just recently made some massive changes to the content.  It is still a 2 day intensive clinic that is designed to completely rework the way you look at, and do, your marketing.
